ATS Movies

Students at the Actor Training Studio get the chance to star in short video productions. This series gives students the chance to learn on-camera acting techniques in a practical way. Additional students serve behind the scenes as part of the production crew, giving them a perspective that’s also useful for their acting process.

This innovative program was designed and implemented by ATS artistic director Andy Garrison, who writes, directs and edits the five to fifteen minute shorts, which are shot using digital video equipment.

Andy’s a member of both the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA). Garrison’s resume includes acting credits on national films as well as several television and radio commercials.

The ATS Movies program is tuition free, but available exclusively to active students at the Actor Training Studio.
