Auditions for The Breakfast Club - LIVE on stage

A live version of The Breakfast Club will be
produced by the Coterie, performing each Monday
starting Feb. 09 through August 09.

Auditions will be Mon. Oct 27 at 6:30 pm at the
Westport Coffeehouse. Please come dressed as the
student character you wish to audition for! (The
roles of the Principal and Janitor are cast.)
Please be between the ages of 16 - 30. Cold
readings; scripts not available in advance.

No phone calls, please.

Film Auditions

Hello,

My name is Adam Roberts I am the producer of a couple of local productions, a comedy titled "RETAIL HELL" and another a noir/drama titled "For the Guy in the Back Row". This Saturday from 11-3pm at the Westport Coffeehouse we will be holding open auditions. Casting primarily Males and Females 18-25 and Males 35-50 years old. Please contact me to set-up a time slot. Combo Auditions

On Tuesday, September 16 and Wednesday, September 17, there will be auditions for five different shows to be presented at the Just Off Broadway Theater from late October through the first three weeks of November.

The audition times are 6PM - 7:45PM, Sept 16 and 17.

The location is the Kansas City, MO, Public Library Southeast Branch, at 6242 Swope Parkway, Room A. This is on Swope Parkway, between East 62nd and 63rd Streets, a few blocks east of US71 Highway.

The shows are:
- a fundraising Halloween variety show for Just Off Broadway Theatre, with performances on Oct 30-Nov 1. Comedy sketches, live music, dramatized versions of Poe stories, and a Costume event by the Coterie of the Crimson Shadow will form the show.


City Theatre of Independence Auditions

Monday and tuesday evening Sept. 15th and 16th at 7PM

Auditions will be held at the ROGER T. SERMON COMMUNITY CENTER 201 N. Dodgion Road, Independence, MO.

PERFORMANCE DATES: Oct. 30-Nov. 9, 2008

There are 2 male and 2 female roles available. Auditions will be closed (this means you cannot watch other auditioners), and will consist of cold readings from the script. Be prepared to share conflicts from Sept. - Nov. on the audition form.

Scripts are now available for checkout (48hour checkout limit) at the Sermon Center Front Desk. A refundable deposit of $20 is needed at time of check out.


Auditions -- One Woman Show

Martin Tanner Productions will be holding
auditions for the one-woman show My Name is Rachel
Corrie. Contracted dates will be for March 3 to
May 10, 2009. Performances will be in KC at the
Unicorn Theatre Jerome Stage, in Springfield MO at
the Vandivort Theatre 2nd Stage and at the Great
Plains Theatre in Abilene KS. Pay will include
travel reimbursement for the out of town dates.
