The Vincent Legacy Scholarship opportunity is
for minority youth in sixth, seventh or eighth
grade. The scholarship will pay for up to $2,000
of performing arts instruction for the selected
recipient.

To be eligible to apply, students must maintain
a minimum "B" (3.0) grade level, be free of
unexcused school absences and show evidence of a
demonstrated interest in community service.

Upon review of all applications, Starlight will
host auditions for up to 12 selected finalists.
Each finalist will audition in the area of
performance that best expresses his or her area
of expertise.

Starlight Theatre staff will meet with the
annual scholarship recipient to create an
individualized plan of performance art
instruction that best suits the student and his
or her needs. The scholarship will be paid
directly from Starlight to the professional
individual, association or agency providing
performing arts instruction.

The deadline for applications is April 13, 2007.
Auditions for those selected to continue in the
selection process will take place at noon on
Saturday, April 28, 2007.
