Casting Call
for the One Night Stand Film Festival
Saturday, June 30th

I’m looking for a reasonable good looking male actor in his 20's to play a pickup artist. He will need to be able to exude extreme cockiness.

The premise is as follows: A pickup artist sees an attractive girl walking down the street and attempts to pick her up armed with nothing swaggering bravado.

About the One Night Stand Film Festival:

The festival in an annual event put on by the Independent Filmmakers Coalition and will take place this year on June 30th.

All films are shot, edited, and submitted within a 10 hour period that day and will be exhibited that night at the Just Off Broadway Theater at 9 pm. Hence the name, “One Night Stand.”

To make things more interesting and to insure that all films submitted were shot that day, each film will need to contain a theme, object, and line of dialogue that will be selected the morning of the festival.

It’s a fun event attended by most everyone in the local independent film community. Last years festival had over three hundred in attendance.

Filming times and locations:

We will meet that morning, Jun 30th, at the Westport Coffee House, 4010 Pennsylvania, KCMO at 9 am. Filming will take place in Downtown, KCMO. We will start filming by 10 am and will wrap by 2 pm or earlier. The film will then be exhibited that night, 9 pm, at the Just Off Broadway theatre, 3051 Central, KCMO.
