Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical

It's a musical based on the evocative tale of the epic battle between good and evil based on Robert Louis Stevenson's classic story about a brilliant doctor whose experiments with human personality create a murderous counterpart. Convinced the cure for his father's mental illness lies in the separation of Man's evil nature from his good, Dr. Henry Jekyll unwittingly unleashes his own dark side, wreaking havoc in the streets of late 19th century London as the savage, maniacal Edward Hyde.

It's been exactly seven years since "Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical" was last seen in Kansas City and this production will mark the debut performances of several professional actors new to the Kansas City area. Both Thin Air Theatrics and Shine Shows are relatively new theatre companies, known mostly for their highly acclaimed recent production of
"Songs For A New World" at Union Station. This is their third collaboration together, and they take pride in joining forces to bring the best to local audiences.
