SYNOPSIS

Fresh from its triumphant Broadway revival…the musical version of “The Rainmaker.”

Based on Nash’s 1954 play "The Rainmaker", "110 In The Shade" tells the story of Lizzie Curry and family, who are trying to survive a paralyzing drought in the West...a drought of rain, love, and life. Worried as much about Lizzie becoming an old maid as the dying cattle, Lizzie’s father and brothers try every possible scheme to marry her off to the cautious local divorceé and sheriff. Enter Bill Starbuck, a conman posing as a rainmaker who promises the locals he can bring relief to the drought-stricken area.
