NOW IT’S YOUR TURN TO GIVE IT A TRY
The Actor Training Studio is proud to host professional stand up comic and writer Scott Steehn with his comprehensive “Zero to Funny” introductory standup comedy class. We’re looking to train the next generation of Kansas City comics, and that starts with YOU. The class is held at ATS, and the ten-hour intensive will run for five consecutive weeks in two-hour sessions. It all culminates with a SPECIAL SHOWCASE for the students’ friends and family!
About Scott Steehn
Scott Steehn started his comedy career in 1986 and quickly rose through the ranks, headlining shows for over 20 years, performing in all 50 states and seven foreign countries. He has worked with a who’s who of comedians, including Jerry Seinfeld, Drew Carey, Tim Allen, and Gilbert Gottfried.
Scott has also written for Saturday Night Live’s “Weekend Update,” Dilbert, and penned freelance episodes of The Simpsons and King of the Hill. In addition, he has been working with new comics for the last 20 years and was lucky enough to serve as a mentor to several comics who have gone on to great things and extremely lucrative careers.
